About a year and a half ago, rock star Brian Johnson performed what many knew to be his last show with AC/DC. Well, clearly it wasn’t as he made a surprise live return at the Reading Festival, electrifying his fans with “Back in Black” alongside Muse.
Johnson was invited by to perform the title track of his album as AC/DC singer. The infamous alternate rock band was closing out this year’s edition of the Reading Festivals.
The show was simply electrifying as you can see from the video how the crowd went crazy, singing along and cheering wildly, loving every bit of Johnson’s moves and singing. A thrilled Johnson said as the song came to an end: “That means a lot to me, thank you so much, thank you, boys!” He then tightly hugged Mute singer Matt Bellamy.
This is the second time Johnson has surprised his fans with a live appearance since the doctors ordered him to stop touring or suffer complete hearing loss. in February 2016. In May 2017, the chaotic rocker performed “Money (That’s What I Want)” (Motown classic) in England with Robert Plant and Paul Rodgers.
Johnson has been seeing some inventors who can make an ear monitor that might allow him to rock on full time.
